Tastefully restored whilst retaining its original features, the house is set within its own private grounds and is ideal for peaceful relaxation whilst enjoying majestic views of the mountains. Ideal for walkers and nature lovers, there are a variety of gentle and more challenging walks in the area which abounds with wildlife. The excellent lake-side restaurant and the San Ruffino Nature Centre can be reached on foot as well as the delightful ancient hilltop village of Monte San Martino and a recently restored tenth century abbey (San Ruffino Abbey). Short drives from the house will take you many of the stunning medieval hilltop villages so typical of this region, to the Sibillini mountains national park, where you can see the breathtaking gorges 'Gola D'infernaccio' the Madonna Del Ambro sanctuary and the famous red coloured lake - Lago de pilato. Here you will find all the beauty of a peaceful mountain retreat yet within 30 scenic miles of unspoiled sandy beaches and city nightlife at Porto San Giorgio, San Benedetto and Pedaso. The house sleeps 4-7 and is available for long or short term rental.
